Ugly bookshelf

I know you are sayingUGGGLY!But I bought this sweet find for 8.00 at DI!

I gave it a fresh coat of black paint and then I cut up strips of scrapbook paper, mod podged it to the shelves and this is my new bookshelf for our downstairs family room!

I found this lamp shade at DI and for 2.00 I had to have it.

I also found this lamp for3.00 at DI and thought this is perfect for my new shade!

I went searching through my ribbon box and found this wide brown ribbon, PURCHASED these cute beads at WALMART for 2.50 and painted the base of the lamp BROWN for a new (to me) lamp for 7.50 total (NOT TO SHABBY) By BRIANA
